Multidisciplinary Attendance for Yukon Government Procurement Training
Maureen Sullivan was in Whitehorse this past week delivering PSPP 101: Public Sector Procurement Essentials to a full house of Yukon Government staff. The atmosphere was charged and the group was dynamic.
It was a pleasure to have such a diverse, multidisciplinary group representing Energy Mines and Resources, Tourism and Culture, Justice, Highways and Public Works, Environment, and Community Services. People with diverse backgrounds bring diverse perspectives and have a chance to learn as much from each other as they do from their training. A great team building experience!
This course should be a requirement from all levels of organizations that procure services and goods. Offers a clear understanding of duties and responsibilities of both parties.
Glenn Lemoine, Highway and Public Works, Yukon Government
I am interested in being more involved with procurement and being a source of procurement knowledge within my branch.
